Refund policy
RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY — MR53
=================================
This policy governs returns, cancellations and refunds for purchases made on https://minoronzoni1953.it/ from Minoronzoni S.r.l., Via Enrico Fermi 4 — 24036 Ponte San Pietro (BG), Italy. It supplements the General Terms of Sale, which apply to anything not expressly covered here.
1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL — 14 DAYS
================================
1.1 The Customer has the right to return the products purchased within 14 days from the day on which the Customer, or a third party indicated by the Customer other than the carrier, physically receives the products, without giving any reason and without any penalty. If the order includes several items delivered separately, the 14 days run from delivery of the last item in the order.
1.2 If the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.
1.3 This right is granted by Articles 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and applies to all products, including those bought in the sales, on promotion or with a discount code.
1.4 To exercise it, it is enough to communicate the decision, before the period expires, in one of the following ways: by starting a request from the "Returns and cancellations" link in the footer of the Site, as described in Article 2.1; by an unequivocal statement sent to 1953@minoronzoni.it; or by using the model withdrawal form set out in Article 9 of this policy. Minoronzoni acknowledges receipt of the communication without delay.
1.5 The Customer may examine and try the products as they would in a shop, to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The Customer is liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary for that purpose: in that case Minoronzoni may withhold a proportionate amount from the refund, giving a reasoned explanation stating the criterion applied.
1.6 Products must be returned complete with all their parts, with tags and labels and, where possible, in their original packaging. We therefore recommend not removing labels and tags until you have decided to keep the item.
1.7 No restocking fee is charged: returning products does not entail any deduction from their price, except as provided in Article 1.5.
2. HOW TO START A RETURN

2.1 The quickest way to start a return is the "Returns and cancellations" link in the footer of the Site (direct link). After signing in with the e-mail address used for the order, the Customer selects the order, indicates the items they wish to return and submits the request. Alternatively, the Customer can write to 1953@minoronzoni.it stating the order number and the items they wish to return.
2.2 When the request is submitted, the Customer receives an e-mail confirming that it has been received. Within 1-2 working days the Customer then receives, again by e-mail, the return authorisation with shipping instructions. Parcels sent without a prior request cannot be accepted.
2.3 The authorisation e-mail should be printed and placed in the parcel with the items: it allows the return to be identified immediately and speeds up the refund.
2.4 Products must be sent back within 14 days of the withdrawal notice, to the following address:

2.5 The Customer is free to choose the courier or postal service used for the shipment. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the Customer and no prepaid return label is provided. A tracked shipment is recommended: until the goods are taken in at the Minoronzoni warehouse, the return shipment remains the Customer's responsibility.
2.6 If the order included a free gift or a promotional item linked to the purchase, it forms an integral part of the order and must be returned together with the products returned. The same applies if the return means that the conditions of a promotion applied to the order are no longer met.
2.7 Returns are handled by post only: products bought on the Site cannot be returned or exchanged at physical stores.
2.8 Please keep the invoice or purchase receipt: it is needed to identify the order.
3. CANCELLING AN ORDER

3.1 The Customer may ask to cancel an item until it has been dispatched, that is until the shipment is handed to the courier. The request can be submitted from the "Returns and cancellations" link in the footer of the Site or by writing to 1953@minoronzoni.it with the order number: if the item has not yet left, the order is cancelled and the amount refunded in full.
3.2 Once shipped, the order can no longer be cancelled, but the right of withdrawal under Article 1 remains fully available.
4. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR NON-MATCHING PRODUCTS

4.1 Please check your order on receipt. If a product arrives damaged, has a defect or does not match what was ordered, report it as soon as possible to 1953@minoronzoni.it, stating the order number and attaching some photographs of the product, its labels and barcode, and the packaging: they are needed to check what happened and resolve it.
4.2 Before sending the goods back, please wait for customer service's reply, which will give specific instructions for the case.
4.3 In these cases the cost of returning the goods is borne by Minoronzoni.
4.4 All products are covered by the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity provided for by Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. The guarantee applies regardless of the return periods indicated above and is not subject to any obligation to notify the defect within a time limit on pain of forfeiture: a late report does not cause the loss of any right. 5. PRODUCTS EXCLUDED FROM RETURN

5.1 Pursuant to Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
• goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised at the Customer's request;
• sealed goods which are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery.
5.2 Apart from these cases, all products on sale on the Site can be returned, including those in the sales or on promotion. To request withdrawal, the Customer has 14 days from delivery of the products (if the order arrives in several shipments, from delivery of the last item), in the ways set out in Articles 1.4 and 2.1.
6. EXCHANGES
============
6.1 Direct exchanges are not handled. The quickest way to get the item you want is to return the one received and place a separate order for the new one, without waiting for the return to be completed.
7. REFUNDS
==========
7.1 On receiving the return, Minoronzoni checks the products and informs the Customer of the outcome.
7.2 Minoronzoni reimburses all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days from the day on which it is informed of the decision to withdraw. The refund may be withheld until the products have been received or until the Customer has supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. If at the time of purchase the Customer chose a faster delivery than standard delivery, the difference in cost is not refundable.
7.3 The refund is always made with the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed, and at no cost to the Customer. The time it takes for the amount to appear on the account or card depends on the bank or card issuer.
7.4 If more than 15 days have passed since notice that the return has been accepted and the refund has not yet been credited, the Customer can write to 1953@minoronzoni.it to have it checked.
